I am taking some courses on setting up a home server.  It will only be used for outside the home access very rarely.  Are ports 80 and 443 available?  I am using my own modem and routers due to issues with Mediacom's equipment and service time frames.  I will await your reply.

Have a blessed day.

Hello LinuxUser. Ports 80 and 443 are used and available on our system. Please contact us again if you have any questions. Thank you-

Be careful! Between rogue bot access and DDoS attacks, you could wind up with a huge bandwidth overage bill. You're better off configuring Apache/nginx to only listen to localhost, and when you're ready for the world to see what you've created, then obtain shared/VPS/cloud hosting.
