Not Able to Communicate with the New Modem's Public IP Address

I have a new Mediacom supplied modem.  I am no longer able to access it's public IP address.  I understand that the new modem may need to be "baselined" to enable external access.  How do I request this?  Thanks!

Hello scorpio1155.  If you have received a new rental device from Mediacom that is currently in use attached to a personal router, you will need to baseline the device to avoid multiple wireless broadcasting points.  You can reach us by SMS text messaging to 66554 or call 855-633-4226 to have this completed.  Both options have representatives available 24/7.
