Port Forwarding port 21

I am having fits forwarding port 21 (FTP) through these Eeros.  I called Mediacom and they said they do not block any ports. I can forward port 80 with no issues. Has anyone had any luck forward port 21 or any ideas where I am going wring?

Hello ZiggyStardust, and thank you for posting. Port 21 is inherently not a port that can be opened due to security measures. This port is primarily used for FTP use and has a history of being a security threat to all users. I do apologize and if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to reach out.

How about port 1433.  I am trying to forward my SQL Server.  THis port worked when forwarded from other home networks (not Mediacom and not eero).
