MC22 began as the Mediacom Connections Channel in 2005, when several separate local origination stations, all operating independently throughout Mediacom’s footprint in Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri, began working as one network, compiling their programming onto a single channel viewable by all Mediacom customers throughout the Midwest. MC22 aspires to be a leading content provider of locally produced programming in communities that Mediacom serves, using state-of-the-art distribution technologies. We provide Mediacom customers with local programming that informs, educates, and entertains. Our operations hub, Master control, is located in the heart of our coverage area in Des Moines, IA.
