How do you run a internet speed test on your Eero?

Answer

Running a speed test directly on your Eero will tell you what speed the connection is between your Gateware Eero and a speed test server using your internet connection.  This test does not necessarily reflect the Wifi speeds of your internal network or devices, but it will show you if there is a speed related issue with your connection to the outside world.  If you are experiencing slow speeds, but this speed test result is good, there can be several things that can cause this.  More information can be found here.

To run a speed test, follow these steps in the Eero app

1. Open the Eero app
   
2. Tap on the Activity Icon at the bottom of the page
3. Now tap on where it shows the fastest download and upload.
4. Tap Run Speed Test
5. Once done, the results will display on your app.
