How do I troubleshoot my internet connection?

Answer

If you're having connection issues, you can troubleshoot your internet connection by following these steps:

  • Check for Outages in Your Area Using the Mediacom Mobile Care app or Texting 66554
  • Power Cycle Your Modem and Router (power off and wait at least 30 seconds before powering back on)
  • Run a Speed Test (if you're experiencing a slow internet connection)
