Xumo Stream Box allows you to configure parental controls. By doing so, you’ll be prompted to enter a PIN before launching specific apps or attempting on-device purchases. Each device associated with your account can have its individual PIN and customized parental control settings.

Setting up a PIN for your Xumo Stream Box:

1. Open Settings.
2. Navigate to the Parental section.
3. Choose “Set up your PIN”.
4. Enter a memorable PIN of your choice.
5. Look for the confirmation message that your PIN is ready to use.
6. Finally, select “Continue”.

Updating your PIN:

1. Open Settings.
2. Navigate to the Parental section.
3. Choose “Manage PIN Settings”.
4. Re-enter your existing PIN.
5. Select “PIN for Purchase” to require PIN entry before in-app and on-platform purchases.
6. Choose “PIN for Apps” to require PIN entry before launching an app.
7. Within the PIN for Apps menu, you can individually select which apps to lock or lock all apps.

Removing your PIN:

1. Open Settings.
2. Go to the Parental section.
3. Select “Change PIN”.
4. Enter your current PIN.
5. Choose “Change PIN”.
6. Enter the new PIN.
7. Confirm the new PIN.

If you happen to forget your PIN, the solution is to perform a factory reset on your device. Here’s how you can do it:

1. Open Settings.
2. Go to System Management.
3. Select Resets & Updates.
4. Finally, choose Factory Reset.
