The 2024-25 College Football Playoff bracket has been revealed, featuring 12 teams competing for the national championship. The top four seeds, which earned first-round byes, are Oregon (1), Georgia (2), Penn State (3), and Boise State (4).
The first round of games will take place on December 20-21, with matchups including:
No. 7 Notre Dame vs. No. 10 Indiana When: Dec. 20, 8 p.m. ET. TV: ABC/ESPN
No. 6 Penn State vs. No. 11 SMU When: Dec. 21, noon ET. TV: TNT/Max
No. 5 Texas vs. No. 12 Clemson When: Dec. 21, 4 p.m. ET. TV: TNT/Max
No. 8 Ohio State vs. No. 9 Tennessee When: Dec. 21, 8 p.m. ET. TV: ABC/ESPN
The quarterfinals are scheduled for December 31 and January 1, followed by the semifinals on January 9-10. The national championship game will be held on January 20 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
