Wi-Fi Service Features
Xtream Wi-Fi is now a feature included with Mediacom Internet service. Save on wireless data plans by streaming at an Xtream Wi-Fi hotspot!
- All residential Mediacom Internet customers have access to the hot zones
- Bulk and Commercial customers will not have access
- Usage will NOT count against individual account usage allowance
- Speed set to 15 Mbps down and 1 Mbps up
- Authentication:
- Customers will use their Mediacom ID or Single SignOn credentials
- Customer remains logged in for 90 days
- Limit of 5 simultaneous connected devices per Mediacom ID
- We will offer non-customers free 30 minutes of access per month (per cell phone #) via text registration
Customer Login
All residential internet accounts can log into any Mediacom Wi-Fi Hot Zone.
Example: Albany, GA customer visiting Savage, MN is able to log in.
Login Process
- Enable Wi-Fi on the wireless device.
- Select "Xtream Wi-Fi" in your list of available networks.
- When the Log In screen presents, tap 'Let's Go'.
- Tap 'Login with Mediacom ID'.
- Enter Mediacom ID or SSO login and password.
NOTE: You will remain logged in for 90 days
Guest Login
Non-customers are allowed 30 minutes of free access per month (per cell phone #) via text registration.
- When prompted, tap 'Continue as Guest'.
- Guest will need to provide their name, email address, mobile number and accept the 'Terms of Use'.
- A verification number is sent via text to guest.
- Once the verification number is validated, the guest will be allowed 30 minutes of usage per month.
Login Troubleshooting
If you have forgotten your user name or password can retrieve or reset it by tapping the 'Forgot User Name or Password' option.
NOTE: You will need your account number and zip code if you forget your username.
