The ACP Benefit Program was set up to help nearly 23 million households to get online and to stay online so that households would have the high speed internet service they need to fully particpate in modern life.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) revealed it will begin taking steps this week to wind down the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), as funding for the program may come to a end.The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) provides eligible households with a discount on broadband service and connected devices.

The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC benefit program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare and more.The ACP is the country’s largest internet affordability
program in U.S. history connecting households in rural and urban communities alike.The Affordable Connectivity Program, the most ambitious home internet subsidy in US history expected to end Mid 2024.
