End of an Era-Nick Saban

Wednesday, the CFB world was shocked as Nick Saban announced his retirement. Saban has been with the Alabama football program since 2007 and is considered one of the all time greats for college football coaches. During his tenure with the program, Nick Saban has claimed 6 national championships, 9 division titles, and 10 conference titles. He has produced 4 Heisman Trophy winners and has a record of 210-29  for his tenure with the program. Those are going to be some MIGHTY big shoes for the next head coach to fill! There are currently rumored to be 4-5 coaches that are being considered for the position. Well, Alabama certainly made a quick choice! Several outlets are reporting the contract is signed and dried for the new head coach! Kalen DeBoer, former Washington Huskies head coach, has arrive in Tuscaloosa! So instead of looking at the potential candidates, let's check out Kalen DeBoer! 

Kalen DeBoer was recently announced as the new coach for the University of Alabama. Just prior to this position, he led the Huskies to the National Championship opposite Michigan. Prior t he coaching career with the Huskies, he was head coach in Sioux Falls at the high school level and then Eastern Illinois, Fresno, and Indiana as the offensive coordinator.
