ACF Fiorentina is a European soccer team based out of Tuscany, Italy. The organization was purchased in 2019 by Mediacom CEO, Rocco Commisso. The team is currently 5th in Serie A for their divisions and are playing in the Coppa Italia Quarter Finals.
The organizations motto is PLAY TO BE DIFFERENT. This is the slogan that will accompany the club's communications – an invitation to seek out an individual, authentic way of seeing and playing football. To be different, alternative, proud of our diversity.
It's time for a fun fact about the team!
Originally home shirts were half red and white, while shorts and socks black. In 1929, a mistake during the washing of a set jerseys given to Fiorentina by Colligiana meant the red dye ran into the white, creating a shade of purple. The color was so well liked by fans, it became the official team color!
