Both the indoor (V515) and outdoor (V723) models support onboard recording with the use of a micro-SD card (customer supplies their own). The Video Doorbells do not offer this functionality.
If you are reaching the 3,000 clip max limit, you might want to adjust your recording rules to only capture desired footage (certain areas of the driveway, specific times of day, people but not animals, etc).
