Hello douglasdees, For safety and security, the Mediacom ID and email password resets will require two-factor authentication (2FA) for Owner/Admin/User Accounts moving forward, otherwise, an agent will need to manually assist in making any changes.
To enable 2FA, log in to our main support site and click the ‘Mediacom ID Management’ tab. Under the 2FA column click ‘Activate’ and enter in the cell number you would like to use. Click ‘Submit’ to send a text that you will need to enter in to finalize the 2FA. With that completed, you can now use the 'Mediacom ID Management' page to change your ID or password by hitting the + under the 'More options' column and will need to authenticate via 2FA in future sessions when/if you need to make changes again.
