Hurricane Helene outage

Since the hurricane Mediacom has been entirely disorganized. I would get text updates every two days and they’d push it back another two days. When I reached out to an actual person they tried to tell me for over an hour there is no outage in my area. My internet has been out since the hurricane in September. Now the automated “estimates” are telling me October 31st. If that is true, and I have to wait another two weeks. I will not be paying my bill. This is ridiculous. Don’t get me started on your “hotspots” that  don’t reach any neighborhood. What the heck is actually going on to cause a month without internet? am I expected to pay my bill?  If literally any other internet provider reached my neighborhood I would’ve chosen them a week ago. Hey Mediacom, a little communication goes a long way.
