To swap out your modem, it is a matter of disconnecting the old modem and connecting up your own in it's place. From there you will need to activate the modem. This can be done on your computer, but if you do have any issues, please reach out to us via Texting at 66554 and we will be happy to activate it on our end. Also, we do recommend buying a 3rd party modem that is on our Compatible retail Modems list. Another link that may also help you is our Modem Swap Guide.
